Save Bandwith/CPU/RAM/Client lag

It seems area’s you leave - stay open until you log, or reset by opening/closing a party.
If the code was changed to close a map area 15 mins after leaving - could this save bandwidth/memory resources ?

Dungeons staying open uses only a miniscule amount of resources on the server, and nearly 0 on the client. It would add more complexity to an already complex system (dungeon/map management), but I really appreciate that you are thinking about ways to make 2038 better.
