I get the error “unable to locate language.dat”
Any ideas?

Check the common errors and issues right down at the bottom.
Try getting the “right context menu” utility called “Take Ownership”. Aim your mouse at the directory containing “language.dat” , and take ownership!
This utility lowers some of the security permissions affecting the patcher’s ability to read certain files, thus your error message.
